What We Offer in Bridgewater
Walk-In Convenience
No appointment necessary. Just stop by during lab hours and we'll get you in and out quickly — no separate lab visit or extra time off work.
Monday & Wednesday Hours
Available every Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM — morning hours make it easy to get fasting blood work done before your day starts.
Comprehensive Sample Collection
Blood draws, urine samples, stool samples, and COVID swabs all handled on-site — whatever your doctor orders.
Advanced Genetic & Specialty Testing
Specialized tests like GeneSight for medication compatibility and Cologuard for at-home colon cancer screening.
Guardant Shield Multi-Cancer Detection
A single blood draw screens for signals of multiple cancer types at once — an additional layer of early detection alongside your standard preventive screenings.
Prevention-Based Care
We don't just treat disease — evidence-based testing helps us catch problems early and optimize your health.
More Convenient Than Quest or LabCorp
Your doctor and lab services under one roof means faster results, better coordination, and less hassle.

Skip the separate trip to the lab.
Walk in Mondays or Wednesdays, 8AM–12PM, at our Bridgewater office.
Saliva & Urine Drug Screening, All 4 Offices
Unlike our Bridgewater-only walk-in blood lab, saliva and urine drug screening (UDS) is available at all 4 of our NJ locations — Bridgewater, Nutley, Hoboken, and Morristown.
New Jersey requires periodic drug screening as part of responsible controlled substance prescribing — this applies to medications like ADHD stimulants, benzodiazepines for anxiety, and opioid pain medications. Rather than treating this as a hurdle, we build it into your regular visits: it's a routine, respectful part of monitoring your treatment safely, not a sign we don't trust you.
If you're being treated for ADHD, anxiety, or chronic pain with a controlled substance, ask your provider about how often screening applies to your treatment plan.
Why We Screen
- Required for responsible controlled substance prescribing under NJ law
- Confirms medications are being taken as prescribed
- Checks for interactions with other substances
- Protects your safety and ours as your prescriber
Lab Work FAQs
Do I need to fast before lab work?
It depends on what tests your doctor ordered. Many tests require fasting for 8-12 hours (water is okay). Your doctor will give you specific instructions when ordering labs. If you're unsure, call us before coming in.
How long does a blood draw take?
The actual blood draw takes just 5-10 minutes. With paperwork and preparation, most patients are in and out within 15-20 minutes — much faster than waiting at Quest or LabCorp.
When will I get my results?
Most routine blood work results are available within 2-3 business days. Specialized tests like GeneSight may take 1-2 weeks. All results are posted to your patient portal, and your doctor will contact you if anything needs attention.
What if I need labs on a day other than Monday or Wednesday?
Our on-site lab operates Mondays and Wednesdays only. If these days don't work for your schedule, we can provide lab orders for Quest or LabCorp facilities.
Do you offer drug screening for controlled substance prescriptions?
Yes. Saliva and urine drug screening (UDS) is available at all 4 of our NJ locations — Bridgewater, Nutley, Hoboken, and Morristown — an essential and routine part of responsible controlled substance prescribing under New Jersey law.
Is lab work covered by insurance?
Most insurance plans cover medically necessary lab work ordered by your doctor. Preventive screening labs are often covered at 100% with no copay. Check our insurance page for details.
What should I bring with me?
Bring your insurance card and a photo ID. If your doctor gave you paper lab orders, bring those too. Wear a short-sleeved shirt for easier blood draws.
Do you offer lab services for children?
Yes. We provide lab services for all ages, from pediatric patients through seniors. Our phlebotomists are experienced with children and work to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
