Looking for a family doctor near Hoboken?
This office provides Spravato treatment in person, with psychiatric visits by video, but you can still have PremierMD as your family practice. Many visits work by telemedicine from home, Monday to Thursday until 7 PM, Fridays until 5 PM and Saturdays until 2 PM — sick visits for minor illnesses, chronic disease follow-ups, medication refills, lab result reviews and weight management. For physicals, lab draws and procedures, our Nutley office is about a 25-minute drive (open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). Medical acupuncture is offered at our Bridgewater office.
Common questions about the Hoboken office
What happens at my first Spravato appointment?
Your first visit is a consultation, usually by video, not a treatment day. We verify your insurance coverage, review your depression history, discuss whether Spravato is right for you, and answer your questions — about 45 minutes. If you're a good candidate, we'll schedule your first treatment session. Treatment sessions themselves run about 2 hours: you self-administer the nasal spray, then we monitor you for roughly 2 hours before you head home with a ride; you can't drive until the next day.
How do I get to the Hoboken office?
The office is a 3-minute walk north on Hudson St from Hoboken Terminal — any PATH train from NYC (about 15-20 minutes from 33rd St) gets you there. NJ Transit bus routes 22, 64, 68, and 89 stop within 2 blocks, there's a Citi Bike station directly outside, and street parking or the Castle Point Garage are both close by.
