Schedule your annual physical this week, not three months from now.
60-minute physicals that cover everything, not rushed 15-minute visits.
Age-appropriate cancer screenings, heart disease risk, diabetes prevention.
Annual preventive visits covered 100% by virtually all insurance plans.
Preventive care is healthcare that catches problems before they become problems. It's your annual physical, cancer screenings, immunizations, blood pressure checks, cholesterol tests—all the things that find disease early when it's most treatable, or prevent it altogether.
But here's what most people don't know: preventive care is supposed to include time to actually talk with your doctor. Time to discuss family history, lifestyle, stress, sleep, diet, and exercise. Time to create a personalized plan to keep you healthy for decades to come. Unfortunately, most practices rush through preventive visits in 15 minutes, check a few boxes, and send you on your way.
Ready for a preventive visit that actually prevents? Schedule today—most insurances cover 100%.
We'll ask about your health history, family history, medications, and any current concerns. This helps us use your appointment time efficiently.
Our team examines you from both Western and Eastern medicine perspectives, identifying subtle patterns conventional care might overlook.
We draw blood on-site for cholesterol, blood sugar, thyroid, kidney, and liver function. We'll also discuss age-appropriate cancer screenings and schedule any needed mammograms, colonoscopies, or other tests.
Based on your exam and lab results, we create a customized plan to keep you healthy. This includes specific nutrition advice, exercise recommendations, stress management, and any medications or supplements you might benefit from.
Ready to Get Started?
We'll reach out within 24 hours to answer your questions and help you schedule an appointment. Most new patients are seen same day, in person or via telemedicine.
Most preventive care focuses solely on lab numbers and screening tests. We go further. Dr. Boguslavsky's training in both Family Medicine and Medical Acupuncture allows him to assess your health through multiple lenses.
This means your preventive care includes:
Prevention isn't just about catching disease early—it's about optimizing your health so disease never has a chance to take hold.

""I'd been putting off my physical for three years because I dreaded the rushed, impersonal experience. PremierMD was completely different. They made me feel like my health actually mattered."

Board Certified in Family Medicine
Board Certified in Medical Acupuncture
Dr. Boguslavsky founded PremierMD in 2006 after becoming frustrated with the "10-minute appointment" model that forces doctors to rush through complex chronic disease management. He knew patients deserved better. His training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and UCLA's Helms Medical Acupuncture Institute gives him a unique perspective on chronic disease. He sees how Western medications can be enhanced by Eastern approaches—creating better outcomes with often fewer side effects.
"Every chronic disease tells a story. When you give patients time and really listen, you can find solutions that 10-minute visits miss. That's why every patient gets my personal cell phone—because managing diabetes, hypertension, or thyroid disease doesn't follow office hours."

Adults should get a comprehensive physical exam every year. Even if you feel healthy, annual visits catch problems early and give you a baseline to track changes over time. If you have chronic conditions, you may need more frequent monitoring.
Yes! Under the Affordable Care Act, one preventive visit per year is covered at 100% by all insurance plans with no copay or deductible. This includes your physical exam, age-appropriate screenings, and recommended vaccinations.
For most people, fasting is no longer required for cholesterol testing. However, if we're checking your fasting blood sugar or if you have diabetes, we'll ask you to fast for 8-12 hours before your appointment. We'll let you know when you schedule.
Bring your insurance card, a list of all medications and supplements you take (or bring the bottles), any recent lab results from other providers, and a list of questions or health concerns you want to discuss.
Absolutely. Our 60-minute appointments give you time to discuss any health concerns, not just preventive screenings. If you have multiple complex issues, we may need to schedule a follow-up visit, but we'll never rush you out the door.
This depends on your age and health history. Common adult vaccines include annual flu shots, COVID-19 boosters, tetanus every 10 years, shingles vaccine at age 50, and pneumonia vaccines for those 65+. We'll review your vaccination history and recommend what you need.
