Our on-site lab is available every Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Morning hours make it easy to get fasting blood work done before starting your day.

Common questions about our on-site lab services
It depends on what tests your doctor ordered. Many tests require fasting for 8-12 hours (water is okay). Your doctor will tell you specific instructions when ordering labs. If you're unsure, call us at (908) 450-7002 before coming in.
The actual blood draw takes just 5-10 minutes. With paperwork and preparation, most patients are in and out within 15-20 minutes. Much faster than waiting at Quest or LabCorp facilities.
Most routine blood work results are available within 2-3 business days. Specialized tests like GeneSight may take 1-2 weeks. All results are posted to your patient portal, and your doctor will contact you if anything needs attention.
Our on-site lab operates Mondays and Wednesdays only. If these days do not work for your schedule, we can provide lab orders for Quest or LabCorp facilities. However, most patients find our Monday and Wednesday morning hours more convenient.
Most insurance plans cover medically necessary lab work ordered by your doctor. Preventive screening labs are often covered at 100 percent with no copay. We accept the same insurance plans as our medical practice. Check our insurance page for details.
Bring your insurance card and a photo ID. If your doctor gave you lab orders on paper, bring those too. Otherwise, we will have your orders in our system already. Wear a short-sleeved shirt for easier blood draws.
Yes, we provide lab services for all ages, from pediatric patients through seniors. Our phlebotomists are experienced with children and work to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
Yes. If your doctor has already ordered labs, you can come in during our Monday or Wednesday lab hours without a separate appointment. Just walk in between 8AM and 12PM. If you need lab orders first, schedule a visit with your provider.
